I have enjoyed being a Scientologist since 1980. That is my personal freedom.
A witch hunt against Scientology began in the 1980s. It started with the Protestant Church. They had a sect pastor Hag, who believed in demons and tried to prevent the spread of Scientology with lies.
One of the politicians who consistently defamed Scientology and Scientologists over the years, against his better judgement, was Günther Beckstein, Vice-President of the Synod of the Protestant Church and later Minister President of Bavaria. He had the power to infiltrate other politicians and prepared the ground for the hysteria.
It went as far as the sect filter. Employees of administrations, corporations, banks and politicians had to sign that they had nothing to do with Scientology.
There is no legal basis for this, it is discrimination against a minority, a method like in the 3rd Reich.
In contrast to the established churches, there was no persecution of Jews in Scientology, no funeral pyres and never any sexual abuse of children.
Scientology stands up for human rights and is committed to combating drugs and psychiatric abuse. Helping is at the top of the agenda.
Despite this, the religion has been monitored by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution for many years.
At first only the organisation was attacked, later also Scientologists, especially me.
